Black Biblical History Compact Disc

This book was written to enable readers to formulate a distinction between physical and mental darkness. God’s Kinship with Dark Colors highlights God’s relation-ship with the color black and darkness. Colors that God fre-quently used as visual symbols to identify His Divine presence.

This source firmly reveals God’s jubilation for dark ebony colors, which in ancient times were revered as Divine colors. God and sacred-darkness are primordial, existing from the very beginning, long before the existence of physical light.

God’s Kinship with Dark Colors stresses that light, which is 10% of the Universe, is entrapped by 90% of solid darkness, which controls universal movements and ordinary systems.

As the sun was going down, a heavy sleep fell upon Abram, and lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon Him. Then God (Elohim or Eloham) said to Abram: "Know for certain that your offspring shall be strangers in a land that is not theirs. They shall live in slavery and be afflicted for four-hundred years."*

The immeasurable power and blackish-dark presence of God, being beyond the comprehension of Abram, constituted a fright-ening yet awesome experience with God. It is wise to conclude that Abram shared this as-tounding theophany with his family (Genesis 15:12-13).†

In ancient times it was widely believed that God represented a Divine darkness; a belief that faded out during the Renaissance.

The people stood afar off while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God (Elohim or Eloham) was (Ex. 20:21).*

The Lord said unto Moses: "Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud (Heavy black clouds, Job 37:11), that the people may hear and forever believe you, when I speak with you." Moses then told the Lord the words of the people (Ex. 19:9; I Kings 18:45).**

According to the 1880 & 1882 Commentary of the Old Testament, which contains the identical books of the King James Version (With addition books, such as Judith, Tobit,
etc.), God permitted Moses tohear His voice, and led him into the dark cloud (Ecclesiasticus, or Sirach 45:5).

Black clouds are wonderful because they are the dust of God’s feet. As clouds sweep across the skies formulating a Holy black shadow upon the earth, causing mankind to tremble, as the fierce black thun-derous clouds roll over clouds in the event of a violent storm! This description is none other than the chariot of God speeding across the universe, raising a little dust around Him (Ps. 68:4; 104:3; Isa. 19:1; Na. 1:3).†

*The unchanging God is a continu-ous reflection of a Holy glorious shadow (I Kings 8:10-12; Ps. 17:8; 36:7; 57:1; 63:7; 91:1; 121:5; Ezek. 31:6; Ho. 14:7; Mal. 3:6; Heb. 8:5; 13:8; Col. 2:17).

**Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance (Thick clouds are dark): # 5645. July 29, 2008.

Moses’ entrance into the thick darkness of where God dwelled, was similar to a microscopic virus interring and exiting the pores of a skin. God used Divine-darkness as a covering, which simulated a Holy skin with pores (Ex. 33:22-23).
